The corresponding size recovery is measured for the glassy polymer Bisphenol-A-polycarbonate in situ in a dilatometer. The plastic strain was introduced into the polymer by cold rolling with a 17% reduction in cross-section and it was observed that the strain relaxation is anisotropic, i.e., being the largest in the rolling direction.journal_article000222383700008
