dc.description.abstractSclerites of holothurians (Calcancora pomerania n. parasp., Rigaudites nudus n. parasp. and Theelia? parasp.) from the Early Maastrichtian chalk of the peninsula Jasmund, isle of Ruegen (northeastern Germany) are described within the Recent family Synaptidae, figured and discussed. This is the first record of Calcancora from the Upper Cretaceous.
