Abstract

Abstract The structure described in the publication “Structure of Violet Phosphorus and Its Phosphorene Exfoliation” ( Angew. Chem. Int. Ed . 2020 , 59 , 1074–1080) is identical to the structure by Thurn and Krebs determined already in 1969 and therefore by no means a new modification.
