Abstract

((Me3Si)(3)C)(2)Al-2(mu -F)F4K (6) is a new organoaluminum alkali fluoride with an infinite potassium zig-zag chain. The compound is accessible either by reaction Of (Me3Si)(3)CAlF2 with KF or by treating (Me3Si)(3)CAlF2 with potassium metal. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
