Abstract
To facilitate the construction of online determination aids from existing plain text dichotomous analytical keys, a software tool is presented for the quick conversion of such keys into HTML code. The resulting HTML documents can be navigated with hyperlinks, and it is possible to set hyperlinks from the taxa to other online resources. The program is accessible online at http://www.sysbot.uni-goettingen.de/key2html/ key2html.html.
